The "Mobile" Coaster - FREE

These coasters hold your beverage and travel with it. The one that holds the Aluminum can has grooves at the base that "click" the can into place and holds it firmly. There are 3 different versions: The first holds a standard sized aluminum pop/beer can. The second holds a red Party cup (also the usual coffee Starbucks mug) and the third is a combination of the other two. It holds the same red cups and coffee cups but also holds an aluminum can but there is a gap around the top portion of the can. Now you can safely sit your beverage on the carpet without fear of someone tapping it with their foot and knocking it over.

These are cut on a CNC router or Laser from whatever lumber you wish. I prefer to use MDF if they get painted... The cut file is in DXF format and has (4) thicknesses to choose from - they are 5mm, 5.2mm, 6mm and 1/4". These are intended to be cut with either a 1.6mm bit or a 1/16" diameter bit. They are all labeled appropriately in the cut file. The parts snap together and can be used without glue but I suggest gluing it anyway. There are 8 parts to each coaster, they are simple to assemble so no instructions exist. Very easy to figure out.

This file is also a good test to make sure you can convert the DXF file to use on your machine. If this will cut on your machine, all my other available files are formatted the same way.
