Mechanical Iris Cut file, including the SketchUp file

This is a mechanical iris that is made completely out of wood. This is the CNC Cut file (.dxf format) also included is the SketchUp file saved to version 2013. You will need half a sheet of MDF at 5.2mm thick and about 12" of 3/8" diameter wood dowel for the hinge pins. There is also a file for 1/4" (.25") thickness. The file is set up to cut with a 1/16" diameter bit. If you want to cut this from a thicker material, the cut file can be adjusted with AutoCAD or equivalent. If you don't have that software, contact me with the thickness of your material and the diameter of bit you prefer to cut with and I will alter the file for you.
